When David Reid established Life Property Management he was determined to take a fresh approach to factoring and property management. With a commitment to ‘doing things differently’, customer care has always been at the heart of his business and the company is always looking for ways to innovate and improve processes.
As the business grew, it became clear that lpm needed to update its finance system in order that it could continue to provide the same level of personal and efficient customer service.
After a disappointing experience with another property management software product, lpm transferred to CPL’s RPM software. The system has been in place for more than three years and David Reid says that the software has made a “big difference” operationally. RPM has streamlined lpm’s billing process, saving time, money and increasing efficiency.
lpm also hired CPL Software to develop My lpm, a secure online client portal which allows individuals to keep on top of their account. My lpm provides clients with easier access to current information regarding the maintenance and management of their property and offers increased transparency.
My lpm allows clients to view invoices and pay and control their account online and in real time. It also enables clients to view and download reports such as insurance documentation and site inspection schedules. The portal has proved incredibly popular with clients and has more than 8000 registered users.
